Hi A while back someone suggested it was time to update the starting page at

and I made a suggestion that can be found here:
http://www.md.kth.se/~chr/lyx/bugzilla/bugzilla.lyx.org.shtml
and since it didn't get any real protests, mabye someone could apply
the changes now?
