I still have about one or two crashes per day when actually using LyX
(without actual loss of data).  They mostly look undo-related and are
strictly non-reproducible. However, it seems to happen to be somehow
related to the number of consecutive undos (i.e. 20 undos in a row is
pretty likely to crash if they involve "complex" operations)

But there seems to be no much difference to 1.2.2cvs. So if the question is
which you should use, I'd recommend 1.3.0.

I have been using Qt for a while and not been missing anything. But I am
not using e.g. (nonmath) tables much.

In theory yes, in praxi you'd need all the support stuff for
reLyX/converters etc...
