The question basically is how much we value that feature. If it is something important, I'd probably try to make sure it works out-of-the-box, if not, than not. Now, I usually don't use the feature but it is definitely something to show off with. So this is rather a "commercial" than a technical decision (and I personally do not lean too much to either side).
