Edwin has already written the Qt doc dialog, and the controller for it.

This is what we were hoping he would do !
Besides, prefs MVC is trivial.

Having more than one port keeps us honest. Look at (or just believe me)
all the supposedly GUII code that was nowhere near such until I buckled
down and wrote the core of the Qt frontend.
(Ther was also quite a lot that was already done too though)
