I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing. When I change to Report from Article, my first Section heading becomes: 0.1 Introduction I want it to stay as: 1 Introduction If I was to make each section into a chapter, I would end up with: 0 Introduction Wouldn't I? > You're welcome for the help.
