In principle, not a bad thing, however FLTK doesn't support Unicode
very well at present - except with the xunicode toolkit which is
something of a deadie (look at its homepages:
http://www.ab.wakwak.com/~tino/jatk/ and
http://xunicode.sourceforge.net/). While this is not much of a problem
now, it could very well become one in the future as LyX develops
towards Unicode.
