Doesn't know if this a bug in Lyx or some other place. Or just me far out;-)
Im trying to compile LyX on a MacOS X 10.2 (thats jaguar- the new distribution). I ceep on geting a error linking against libjpeg. I have compiled the libjpeg.a myself - i compiled the static - not the shared library but it should be enough if its just xforms using it. I used libjpeg when I compiled Windowmaker - so it works. libjpeg.a is located in /usr/local/lib Is there a problem in the libforms binaries or is this a lyx bug? xforms seems to work - the testfiles compiles. The OsX 10.2 differes from prior distributions and binaries might not work - but since xforms are static i dont think thats the problem. The OsX 10.2 has gcc-3.1 - but i tried emulate 2.95.2 - but it didnt help. I think I tried evrything, anyone have an idea?
