Well after the changes you made yesterday (and my manually editing
the Makefiles to change moc2 to moc) I now compiled and linked the
qt version of LyX.
First impression, nice ;) I like the menus a lot more than the xforms ones!
The fonts are the same on my system between the xforms version and the
qt version, so I cannot reproduce Lars's problems with different fonts.
Maybe it's the settings you have Lars. Could you send me your preferences
file? I normally have all of it as LyX defaults.
Now to the negative part. It's slow! The update of screen is way too
slow. Try to resize the window and you wait 1-2 seconds on my Athlon 1800+
to see the resize. Scroll with the scrollbar and it scrolls in steps.
I really hope John can do something here, as if that's the default behaviour
I prefer the xforms version to work with (and the qt to look at ;)
There are errors on the console when moving between toplevel menus:
> LyXAction::funcHasFlag: No info about kb_action: -1073745720
