Inspired from the user's list, I have tried to do a first step in hunting the KOMA-script progress. I have added the new environments of the latest release, as far as this is possible currently. There are of course still LOTS of cool features that are not (and cannot be) supported. However, this is what I've added:
- \addpart (similar to \addchap, \addsec)
- \dictum[author]{dictum}
adds a nice formatted dictum e.g. underneath a chapter
