YES! Configure and make are running like a charm; version output is okay. After an autogen.sh I still need to modify configure manually to add a "-lXpm" to the LIBS when configure tests for -lforms. That's a nuissance. I thought there's some sort of consensus that Xforms library will not carry the Xpm libs, so that always -lXpm will be needed. Shouldn't that be added somewhere then in LyX? In configure.in or in some .m4 file? Rob.
