I did not understand, why that would be of any help.
There is a line in Makefile.am:
XFORMSGIMAGE = xformsGImage.C xformsGImage.h
so recreating Makefile.in and Makefile does nothing, as
../../../../src/frontends/xforms/xformsGImage.C
does no exist.
The only help here was a symbolic link
ln -s xformsImage.C xformsGImage.C
in the
frontends/xforms
directory.
Starting lyx i got a SIGSEGV after parsing of .cdef file.
I will wait, until the problen with Edwin disappears.
