In my opinion this has nothing to do with Lyx as the Turkish keyboard
mapping file is broken with XFree86 4.2 I am using a different keyboard
file and since tr-TR.UTF-8 does not work with Lyx as long as I have
LANG=tr_TR lyx I have no problems in typing "gbreve" ÄŸ or ÅŸ "scedilla"
or any other letter of Turkish alphabet
