If I should have to be impartial in mentioning alternative approaches to preview-latex, the web page would not exist at all. The page does not contain any derogatory material (as far as I am able to see), if you think the relative strength of LyX's math editor is more worth mentioning than that of TeXmacs, that's ok with me.
