I don't like this at all :
1) lyx is not gnumeric
2) this clutters an already obscenely complex and confusing dialog
3) it is too primitive to be useful
So, sorry, but personally I'm dead against this patch. Instead we should
be looking at interacting with other tools like gnumeric better, cf.
math-extern
