Certainly there will be cases where this philosophy doesn't apply. In those cases I'll have to consult the gurus and ask what they'd do. f.ex the Preferences dialog (everyone's favourite) is *huge* and I couldn't apply with every change of state. However FormERT can. I guess I'll just have to decide on some arbitrary division between 'properties' and 'utility' and design accordingly.
