I have a similar problem with the attached (reduced) LyX file.
I think the whole problem is related to the various encodings used by the differen tools like LyX, TeX, postcript. In my case using a non ASCII letter, the o-umlaut (ö), make the whole paragraph vanish. e.g. It only displays "2.". My enviroment variables are set as following: LANG=de_CH XMODIFIERS=@im=Ami LC_CTYPE=ko_KR.eucKR MM_CHARSET=ISO-8859-15 Also CJK-LyX displays its menu with weired characters as soon as it should display the the same O-Umlaut as in File..open which gives in german "Datei..öffnen". May be this helps you. Regards -- Niklaus Giger Wieshoschet 6 CH-8753 Mollis [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tel. G: +41 55 618 64 68, P: +41 55 612 20 54
