actually I discovered that lyx does export files correctly, it stores them
in /tmp/.... and correctly moves them to the working directory, however it
reports an error that it can't move the file even though it did, perhaps
you are testing the wrong return value from the os operation.
I am running redhat 7.2, pentium 4 1.9 ghz, 256 RMB ram, and I compiled with
all default options,
to reproduce the result, write a lyx file then try exporting it to the different
formats

We already had a report of that, but nobody could reproduce it. Could
you send some details to [EMAIL PROTECTED]?
