Since I don't have access to TUGboat, I would consider it a courtesy if somebody who could do so legally (perhaps the author? depending on relevant laws of the country in question and/or the conditions of TUGboat somebody else?) mailed me a copy for private perusal. Also this talk will be in September, and I want to attract as many people as possible to LaTeX. So it would be important to know about those components of LyX that have undergone a leap of quality in 1.2. I have been told that 1.2 has made _significant_ progress over 1.1, and I would not want to deliver outdated or superceded information or criteria for choosing your editing environment according to your needs. No need to rush, the talk is in September, and the final versions of the paper still have some time remaining. I will probably post a download location for the LyX-related part here sometime before the deadline and will be glad for criticism of more knowledgable people, particularly when that means I can include some "forward-looking" information that will with some reliability become current in the not too distant future.
