Michael, I don't see this (I've told you that already), but I have a question
for you.
Have you installed lyx-1.2.0cvs or are you running it from the build-tree?
The language stuff only works for a fully installed lyx (it looks for the
translations in (f.ex)
/usr/local/share/locale/fr/LC_MESSAGES/lyx-1.2.0cvs.mo
Just a thought.
