I've reinstalled a clean Cygwin now, giving me Cygwin 1.3.10 with XFree86 4.2.0-1 and xforms 0.89.6. Now it doesn't compile any more, bailing out after two files with a "duplicate declaration of bcopy" message and complaining about the system's strings.h.
