I did that.
a) meanwhile I reconfigured LyX to use finnsih as default language.
1) It took long time when lyx changed line by line, took that blue
underscore
away.
2) Tried to view as pdf; produced a lot of errors. The text in messages
is
impossible to read as it spreads allover.
3) I removed all error message.
4) Saved the file.
5) Tried to view once again as pdf.
6) It worked - Contents are now Sisältö.
7) This is now good for tomorrow when I have to deliver the document,
but
it cannot be such difficult to use LyX when user has to write in many
languages.
I'll start to test this when I have a little more time.
