I have problems currently with my e-mail account (thus I use another one for this message) and get messages with a lag of at least 15h! A few comments about Angus citation patch: first, I guess that some of the parts are not really supposed to go in (workaround for istringstream flakiness in cxx, removal of SetXtermCursor), since they do not really seem related to the problem. Apart from that, I did not have time to actually try out the patch, but I trust that Angus tried all possibilities. I applied the ProvideNatbib patch from Mike. I only had to fix the sorting of the tags (Mike how come you did not see the tons of debug info on console? ;) Juergen, I see you did not fix it_Customization.lyx. COuld you do it? Rob, I did not yet apply your grace patch, because I was wary of running xmgrace. Are you sure it runs without an X server available? This is very important for us, and I do not have access to it. Finally, I did not yet take a look at the various graphics patches from Herbert. Herbert, could you recapitulate which ones are needed? Please keep me in cc: of this message.
