Hello. I work at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Bethesda, MD. I
am a linux cluster administrator and software developer. I am
currently developing high volume ship structure data analysis software
that runs on Linux clusters via MPI.
I have found LyX to be invaluable for writing technical documents. I
have written a linux cluster setup document and four software manuals
with it, complex math equations and all. I will never use Microsoft
Word, Corel Word Perfect, or Sun Star Writer to write another
technical document. LyX enables me to concentrate on content and not
waste any time on formatting.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the software
developers, beta testers, and everyone else involved in the LyX
project. Your efforts allow me and several people in my department to
avoid frustration, save money, save time, and turn out a better
looking product.
