I tried briefly the new tooltips and have two remarks:
1/ there should be no delay before the tootips appear, since the user explicitely asked for them (like MacOS bubble help) 2/ Now I see that activating them via menu (or toolbar) is a pain: you open a dialog and find you want some help. Therefore you select "What's this" in the _main_ window (and your dialog loses focus); then you have to set focus again on the dialog to actually get help. That's a pain. The solution could be a "what's this" checkbox (or a ? pixmap icon toggle) on each dialog supporting this. However, I believe a better solution would be to display the tooltip on right click on a widget. Angus, would that be possible? In this case, we could get rid of the "what's this?" toggle. JMarc
