Jean-Marc, thanks for replying. On Fri, Mar 01, 2002 at 04:08:14PM +0100, Jean-Marc Lasgouttes wrote: > Helmut> - Empty label fields disappear if they are not filled. I > Helmut> could not toggle this behaviour. > > Did you try "KeepEmpty 1"
I sometimes use it but this boolean switch has 3 states which cause my problem: KeepEmpty 0 -- disappears when nothing entered KeepEmpty 1 -- user enters something KeepEmpty 1 -- user enters nothing In my letter style (akletter.cls) there are commands for e.g. referencing my last mail: \mymail{yesterday} If I set KeepEmpty to 1 and enter nothing the exported LaTeX-file has an entry: \mymail{} This prints the label 'My letter of:' in the letter; if \mymail does not exist the label is suppressed. > Helmut> - Some higher level contructs are missing like if-then-else > Helmut> or boolean switches.
