Thanks. And thanks for the changelog too. Note that, if you use emacs,
it can automatically produce changelog entries for you with 'C-x 4 a'.
With these, I would not have to fix spacing...

I rpelaced that by #if 1...#else...#endif. Keeping old code is not
very useful if you cannot revert easily to the old version. 

Hmm, do you really think that keeping the old code is necessary? Hmm,
after doing a 'diff -u' between the two code fragments, I am now sure
they are identical, so I actually removed the old code.
