Dear developers,

By and large the math-editor is a nice piece.
I would like to comment on the new math-editor in 1.2.0cvs.

  1. In 1.1.6fix4 I can insert normal text by M-c-m and I can insert
spacings of suitable length just by pressing the spacebar, but I cannot
do these tricks in 1.2.0cvs. I miss these feature. (I hope it is just a
customization problem).

2. Eqnarrays.
a) In 1.1.6fix4 I can delete rows in an eqnarray, just by highlighting
the the entire row and pushing delete, but I cannot do that in 1.2.0cvs.
I miss this feature, (although the labelings are sometimes messed up one
line after the deletions.)
b) When I insert a label, the environment switch from eqnarray* to
eqnarray. This is smart.
When I insert \nonumber the numbering disappears correctly on the
appropriate row. BUT!!!! In the case I want a label and a number on a
row which is "\nonumber-ed" before it does not work. In this case the
obvious solution would be: delete the \nonumber and insert the \label{}.
In order to master this, I need to edit the lyx-file with a text editor,
if the \nonumber-ing is made in a document that is closed and reopened!!!

Wishlist:
For eqnarrays:
- a delete row
- a proper handling of insert label on rows with previous \nonumber-s

Regards,

Staffan
