I actually have been :-O --- I guess I just missed the synchronism thing. Angus helped me work around a stupid converter bug (ImageMagick's xpm converter is broken in my version, and Mandrake 8.0 forgot to include the "bc" dependency for netpbm), so all that seems to work beautifully.
