I disagree. Since newly released versions of lyx are called 'stable', we must make sure that it is of highest quality (for example, I think that it was a mistake to release 1.1.6 with the immature table code). Anyway, I volunteer to be fix any future problem that will be caused due to the change in the tabular format.
