tetex-1.0.7-21.1mdk from Mandrake 8.0. I guess you are running Mandrake-8.1. Note that your dvips version is 5.86e and mine is 5.86. Note that your dvips version is copyright 2001 and mine is 1999. So yes, I am sure the installation is correct. It's just not as current as yours. Allan. (ARRae)
