My personal preference is to get rid of the dialog and just open a another buffer that is a single InsetERT. Although it need not be drawn quite the same way as users may start thinking they can add other things outside the ERT's borders. An alternative could be to start the document buffer with an InsetERT but that will require special case handling for input and output so is less desirable. Allan. (ARRae)
