xforms 0.88 (the prefered one!) I tried to apply your patch and I have the behaviour I described you above. on every change in the inputfield the cursor is put after the last character in the input-field, this is just too akward (and IMO it depends probably that we call update and the contents of the field is reput there. But anyway changing a with is just too akward with the actual scheme we can change this when we pass to an Ok/Apply scheme of the dialog, as right now there is an update of the tabular on every input and that's not really nice! We could however use this for the special fields where we normally don't have repaints, but only if we solve the cursor problem. We could also apply automatically the input field on a close event. Is that possible? Jug P.S.: I mail you this also private as it seems the lyx-devel is not working. -- -._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._ Dr. Jürgen Vigna E-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Italienallee 13/N Tel/Fax: +39-0471-450260 / +39-0471-450253 I-39100 Bozen Web: http://www.sad.it/~jug -._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._ Remembering is for those who have forgotten. -- Chinese proverb
