Jean-Marc this should be easy for you to resolve! What do you need to
disable the paragraph menu? Or we could ask inside the Controller and
call some function bool Paragraph::noDialog(). What do you think?

It would be nice if we could add it as Cc: to some replies we make
so that they go to the lyx-devel list to (I'm thinking of faster
response times and people like Andre, but also myself), otherwise
