*If* I remember correctly, you can't, and that's one of the reasons
\mathbbm may be more useful.

Do you have the Comprehensive symbol list?

symbols_A4.pdf or some similar name, from CTAN.

That (very briefly) compares the different BB fonts, as well as being
generally rather useful.
