I think that at least initially people will continue to post bug reports to the lyx-devel list. These can be added to bugzilla by someone (me, someone else). With nautilus development (before eazel went under) people who posted bugs would usually: 1) add it to bugzilla and note the bugid. 2) join irc chat and ask someone to look at it. 3) e-mail the list saying "Anyone had a look at %(bugid)" So while the mailing list is still a good way to 'discuss' bugs, "Have you seen 1453" is much easier than "Have you had a look at the crash you get when you triple click on a math formula within a wide inset." > If so, does it mean that I will have to use some web-based tool if I want > to read bug reports some day? If you really hate using web interfaces, Bugzilla has a 'whine' setting, so if you really want you can be nagged via e-mail when you have items outstanding. :) -- ======================================================================== | Michael Koziarski |"Conventional wisdom is often | | Data Engineer, Linux user | long on convention and short | | & Objectivist. | on wisdom" -- | | http://www.koziarski.com | Warren E.
