a book of 298 pages written with 1.1.6 and a filesize of 1.9 MegaBytes
- loading in 1.1.6 takes about 6 seconds
loading with converting into 1.2.0 takes more than 3 minutes!
(Display Graphics was disabled!)
- saving and reopen the now 1.2.0 doc takes about 17 seconds
- loading another very short doc
- switching between these docs in 1.1.6 no problem
- in 1.2.0 switching from short to the long doc takes
about 7 seconds -> formatting process
this happens every time!
- in 1.1.6 there is often a construct like
latex latex
latex default
which is converted into an empty ERT. it's not really
importend, but LyX should ignore empty ERT's!
- dvi-view with 1.1.6 no problem
for 1.2.0 I get a latex run with 8 errors
-> wrong conversion! (see attched newfile5.lyx)
the problem is, that this wrong conversion is invisible in
the 1.2.0 file. Only a view into the lyx-file shows the
behaviour.
Rewriting this part gave a successful latex run, but
not of all pages in fact of the not reported label inside
ERT-problem.
- and the last mini remark: a control-enter is shown as an
unknown character in an ERT-Button.
