It will read everything into a single cell. So all you'll lose is "visual
feedback" for the parts covered by your trick. You could leave it that way
(it will be written back/to .tex properly) or "fix it" using the macros I
posted.

We had this discusiion. I won't re-iterate those arguments that weigh
stronger in my opinion...
