So in docbook you don't have the distinction between first header and header and last footer and footer? > Much more clear, what is going on. :-) > BUt not for 1.2.0 I guess, no? Well I would regard this as a bug fix in the GUI interface and would add the needed calls to the set the (double-border) options in the tabular.[Ch] Then we just would need a simple algorithm which calculates the row-span of all single items and there it is. Also I would add the needed code to output the right stuff in the LaTeX file, while I leave it to you to do so for the Docbook output ;) I also would like to implement again the groff output for tabulars so that we can have decent ascii views of them and also support the header/footer thing for ascii outputs! But the last item is a bit much work so this will be only implemented if I find the time AFTER the awaited bug fixes I should make. So I will only spend time on this if I reduced the Buglist which is waiting for me (and Lars ;) Jürgen -- -._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._ Dr. Jürgen Vigna E-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Italienallee 13/N Tel/Fax: +39-0471-450260 / +39-0471-450253 I-39100 Bozen Web: http://www.sad.it/~jug -._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._-._ "...and scantily clad females, of course.
