Hi there! I recently had a quick look at the QT2 version of lyx. I compiled from CVS. Looks very nice, I like the improved looks. Feels smoother. And: It is almost usable :-)
Preferences-Dialog did not work. Not yet implemented?
The (pretty new) citation dialog for bibtex had a some problems with regard to
searching.
It searched correctly (Feature request: Parse out all those {C}apitalized
things. To tex-y) but it did not update the view accordingly.
It crashed when I opened a second document. emergency save worked though.
Why do you now number paragraphs (nice,but who needs that?) and why do you
not number footnote (essential for jurists... like I am...)
The graphics dialog has a wrong filetype regexp entry which can not be
edited manually.
When I added an .eps graphic it opened a gs prompt on the shell where I had started
lyx. Nice :-)
Spell check dialog: pretty. Options did not work (yet?)
Looks quite nice. Will it be released (as a beta) soon?
