Having to put "signature" before "opening" is crazy. I know it prints in the right place, but that sort of thing is certainly not "what you see is what you mean". Because I don't mean the signature to come first. And maybe I don't need an "opening..." sometimes... There ought to be a warning if violating these strange rules. Ideally, it should be fixed in latex, or lyx could sort it into expected order when exporting to latex. This sort of thing may not be a problem for people who comes from latex. But people comes to lyx with other backgrounds too. It isn't that hard accepting many of the ways lyx is "different" from other word processors - after all, it is better because of it. But the letter ordering just seems crazy. I have used it, but tend to prefer article because there are no surprises when I print it. :-( Helge Hafting
