Having brought this up once before, here is an URL
to a European Commission website, which discusses
the possibility to get free software development
projects financed through their IST program.

It appears that the possibilities for this have
become a lot better lately.

There is *a lot* of documentation to read and the
procedure is traditionally bureaucratic to the
extreme, but... would this be something for LyX to
use?

It would need a co-ordinator which should be
a legal person of some kind (INRIA?). Having companies
along (esp. small ones; Kalle Dalheimer's firm? And/or
SuSE, our last meeting sponsor?) is looked upon
favourably.

Deadline 17 oct. Any ideas? (And no, I am not
volunteering :-( )

Martin
