I would much rather have most of this to be xforms-specific,
with the exception of the help text.
Qt has "QWhatsThis" which can contain this sort of context-sensitive
help. So for Qt we will prefer to use what's this (for which we need
the help text) rather than this method.
Not sure what others think.
