Hi Lars, enclosed please find a _simple_ example where the automatic conversion from latex font to ERT inset fails. In the given file, a table with 2 columns and 1 row contains some latex code in both cells. After loading the file with lyx cvs, the content of the first cell is moved to the second and the content of the second is discarded. BTW: Purify did not find any memory problem. After some more investigation I come to the conclusion that this is the only case where the inset causes trouble. So I hope the emotional discussion on pros and cons may come to an end soon.
