Sure, this is a temporary fix...

As I said in a different thread,  w3 have just changed their website to
use different languages for reporting bugs in your css and this has broken
most of their validator links.  Unfortunately, they haven't updated their
pages to show how to the /check/referer correctly now.  I thought I'd give
them a few days before fixing this in case they correct it.

What I'm looking at instead is the form:

http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http://www.lyx.org/

This form still works so now all I need is to figure out how to get the
URL of the page php is currently generating.  That would make checking
fully automatic again.  If I do your change users need to cut/paste or
type in the URL after going through two other pages on the w3 site.

So I'll try to get the direct route working (unless w3c get their site
fixed first).
