Update:
Using current LyX 1.2.0cvs and the "glibc2.1.92"" xforms 0.89-6 from
http://www.vjet.demon.co.uk/xforms/, the problem apparently no longer
occurs (no crash for ~3 days of use). Hard to tell which upgrade (lyx or
xforms) fixed it, but if you think it's important I can try to find out.
