I could just say "About time!" but that isn't your point is it.
Sure Windows may well be more easily reached now using the Qt2 port.
That's great.  It still requires system independence, X-windows
independence and that is what we are working towards anyway.

Does Qt2 run on OS/X and look like a native app?  What about BeOS?
OS/2? Yes there still people using this platform and they have been
waiting forever to get a native port.

Qt2 is a tool.  It is not the final solution.

I think it is great that we can now use Qt2 to make a Windows port but
just having a free Qt2 for Windows doesn't really solve anything.  There
are a truckload of other things to do yet.
