A couple of people have pointed out that I'm using xforms 0.88 linked against
glibc 2.0, while I have 2.1 installed. I'm currently solving that. The
previous problem with accents was with LyX 1.1.5fix1, as included with SuSE
7.1. My problem with accents, which I reported to this list, was a crash of
LyX when using the accents on a Spanish keyboard. SuSE 7.1 also includes
xform 0.89. With LyX 1.1.5, I could use the xforms 0.88 from SuSE 7.0 (glibc
2.0 I think) without problems. When I installed LyX 1.1.6, I had forgotten
about the xforms issue. I'm going to recompile 1.1.6f2 with the SuSE 7.1
default xforms. Hopefully the accent problem will be gone. Otherwise, I'll
compile xforms 0.88 by myself. Thanks, Michael Creel.
