lyx insert at least a "bounding box" in the graphic inset, so you can realize, that there is an image. in fact of the large ps/eps-files i always work with the zipped files and let includegraphic unzip this one. so far so good. in fact of the zipped lyx doesn't view any border for the image. so my question: why?
