This popup has not been changed to a real one yet. It still uses the
ugly default text entry form.

This is a case where a good purify run would be useful... What is the
status here? I remember a patch the I only applied partly (what
remains is the part with pointer to members). If compaq cxx and gcc
like it, I'll apply it. Will you be able to run/test LyX after that?
