Hello Alejandro,
first of all, let me tell you that I am very greatful for what
you and your friends have done for lyx. As I understand, you
ought to be the person for my subject; if not, please tell me.
I have an idea of which I think it might improve Lyx's usability
even further:
The major advantage of the math editor is the speed up it
provides by allowing use of latex syntax and providing the
mathpanel for to the user unknown symbols.
Suggestion:
The mathpanel should contain hints on latex syntax for the
provided symbols. This could be achieved by popups appearing when
the mouse pointer rests above a button.
Effect:
The user could easily lookup commands which he then can use in
future.
